Our adoption process is centered on finding the best possible match for both the dog and their future family. As dogs become available, our volunteers carefully review applications with the goal of making thoughtful, well-suited placements.
We consider each dog’s unique background — including personality, temperament, energy level, comfort with children and other pets, medical needs, and more — alongside your family’s lifestyle and preferences.
We take pride in intentional matches to help ensure every pug transitions smoothly into their forever home.
At a minimum, all dogs receive an exam, Rabies, Bordetella & Distemper-Parvo vaccinations, spay or neuter, heartworm & parasite testing, start on heartworm preventative, and microchip prior to adoption. Many of the rescues require additional veterinary care.

If you are ready to move forward, complete the adoption application.
Qualified applicants will be contacted by a volunteer to schedule an interview and home visit.
After the home visit and approval, we will discuss which dog — or dogs — may be the best fit for your home.
Once a match is confirmed, finalize the adoption and welcome your new family member home.
Puppies up to 3 Years of Age - $800
4-5 Years of Age - $700
6-7 Years of Age - $600
8+ Years of Age - $500
We understand that rescue pricing may be higher than you might expect. Please note that shelters are able to adopt dogs for much lower due to funding sources. Rescues rely on donations to pay vet costs, and adoption fees do not cover all of the vet costs, food, medications, and supplies for the dogs in our care. While one dog may costs $400 for full vetting, another dog can cost $1500, or a medical emergency can costs thousands.
